El ajo contiene un compuesto llamado alicina, el cual tiene potentes propiedades medicinales, El ajo posee un alto valor nutritivo, pero contiene muy pocas calorías, mejora los niveles de colesterol, lo que puede disminuir el riesgo de enfermedades cardíacas y contiene mucha vitamina C, vitamina B6 y manganeso, mejora la circulacion en sangre, reduce el nivel de colesterol y protege nuestro sistema digestivo.
